“The inspiration for the shoot was inspired by fall, but not your traditional fall colors. Orange with complementing blue tones for the color pallet, on a clean backdrop of white, brought the vision to life. Along with the color pallet I wanted to have a very classy and timeless feel to the shoot, including the bride’s simple but stunning Mikaella Bridal gown.
I worked with an incredible group of all local Asheville vendors. Ashley from Mingle events helped me design a swoon-worthy tablescape And Whitney from Springvine hit it out of the park with the florals. A full list of vendors below who were all incredible to work with. Working with these vendors made us feel so at home and we hope to work with them again in the future.”

Cordial & Craft supplied what we do best: imbibements! My inspiration for an untraditional fall wedding color palette was to use the peachy and fun color palette and join it with my favorite cozy fall activity: drinking tea!
This recipe was also featured in the WNC Magazine‘s holiday edition as an easy batched cocktail to make for small and large gatherings.
Loose Leaf
Ingredients
fresh grapefruit juice
chamomile-honey syrup*
Directions
To make the syrup, make a honey syrup with equal parts honey and hot water. While the water is still hot, steep 1 cup dried chamomile flowers in mixture for about 10 minutes. Strain flowers. Stir and let cool.
To make the batch cocktail, pour equal parts gin, grapefruit juice, and chamomile syrup into a pitcher or punch bowl. Serve over ice and garnish with chamomile flowers and a dried lemon wheel.
